Elirion was founded in 1990 to supply products to the desktop publishing market. Despite initial success, the integration
of many of our products' features into competitors' products resulted in a shrinking market size. Coupled with
a shortage of developers due to our involvement in industrial automation projects at Baldwin
Graphic Products and commitments at UPS Corporate R&D, this resulted in
the company concentrating on consulting in embedded systems development.
Interest in the use of the Internet for engineering support and Java as an embedded system programming language
resulted in the development of Internet-specific skills within the company. As a result, we now offer web
site design and hosting services.
